Overview

Trayce is a local-first desktop application. All data stays on the user's device. Trayce does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

What Trayce accesses

Trayce accesses files, screenshots, and chat histories that you explicitly import. This data is indexed locally using an encrypted SQLite database on your machine.

What Trayce never does

• Never uploads your data to the cloud.
• Never sells or shares data with third parties.
• Never uses your data to train AI models.
• No telemetry, no analytics, no tracking.

Third-party AI connections

When you connect Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI tools to Trayce, only the specific relevant context snippets are passed to those tools per query. Trayce does not give third-party AI tools blanket access to your data.

Data storage

All data is stored locally in an encrypted SQLite database on your device. You can delete all data at any time from within the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Changes will be posted at usetrayce.com/privacy.
